The Springs

For this Skywalker Rectangle Trampoline, all the springs are very big. The bigger the springs the better the bounce. And these trampoline springs are gold-plated. Well, the springs pretty good quality and they’re covered by the blue mat which probably takes away some of the bounce. But I just leave it on there because it looks better than a trampoline without a mat. The bounce I would say it is a 3.5/5. It’s not like horribly bouncy but it’s not like the worst one out there either.

The Poles & Net

The poles for this Skywalker rectangle trampoline is designed brilliantly. All the poles are inside the springs and pad which prevents your body bouncing on the spring pad or the edge of the trampoline. These poles are pretty sturdy really thick they don’t move around a lot. The net attaches really nice and tightly so it doesn’t let your body parts get outside of the bouncy area. I would give it a 5 out of 5.

The Mat

Springs play an important role for the bounce on a trampoline. However, mats too play a big role. If the quality of the trampoline mat is not good, then the bounce of the trampoline will be reduced even if the springs are good. For this trampoline the bounce is good, well, it’s not the best but relative to many trampolines at the same price the bounce is not that bad. I would give 4/5 for the mat.

Easiness to set up

It took two and a half hours probably so it wasn’t too bad. Some trampolines take like five hours some take one and a half depending on what type you get. But for a pretty big trampoline and being a rectangle it was pretty easy to set up and only took us like I said two and a half hours. The instructions that came with it were a little complicated like some things that didn’t tell you what you needed to do. It didn’t make everything super super clear. Overall it was really easy to set it up. So, I would give it a 4.5/5 on easiness to set up.

How long does this last?

We’ve only had this trampoline for 6 months and we can’t tell you much about how long it’s going to last. Based on the reviews many people say it’s like falling apart. The Funk Brothers have the same Skywalker rectangle trampoline, in their review, they stated that its just falling apart. I’m not sure if that’s due to not taking care of it very well. We will update this review in a few months saying like how well it holds up over time.

So overall this is our ratings

1- 3.5/5 for Bounce
2. 4.5/5 for Build quality and sturdiness
3.4.5/5 for ease of setup
